There are plans to widen upazila and union roads to speed up the transport system for the development of rural road infrastructure. Besides, reconstruction and repair projects of flood affected roads will be taken up. Meanwhile, the project to eliminate water scarcity in rural areas by digging ponds and canals has been finalized.
